I was never paid for the service. My story is very similar to that already posted. I eventually gave up on the phone calls and emails, because the amount of money was not worth the time and effort spent. I did, however, contact the customer of the course to find out if they had paid for the course. They told me that they paid in advance, using their American Express credit card, and that ADI would not have run the course for them unless this was done. Basically, ADI got paid for my service, but I did not. I find it very unfortunate that this type of thing happens to vulnerable small companies, like my own. It is my opinion that this withholding of payment was done with the full knowledge that most of us could not afford to investigate the situation or represent ourselves legally, and thus would be forced to take the financial loss. Fortunately, most of my customers are more honest and forthright, which is perhaps why I am still in business after 5+ years on my own. I know that I will never have to disguise myself under a different company name, in order to keep doing business. I wonder how others sleep at night...
